Canada has approximately 2,000 originating radio stations, not including rebroadcast transmitters. National radio networks include CBC Radio One, CBC Radio 2, Première Chaîne, Espace musique and Aboriginal Voices. Major ownership groups include Standard(Astral), Astral, CHUM(CTV Globe), Corus, Rogers, Rawlco, CTV Globe,and Newcap.
